The creative house exists because I became a mom.
And when I did, I knew the way I had been working, quietly behind the scenes, purely referral based, always available wasn't going to work anymore. Not for the life I wanted. Not for the mother I wanted to be. And honestly, not for the designer I wanted to be either.
So I built something intentional. Project-based work with clients who share my values. The creative house isn't just a business. It's a decision about how I want to live.

What I Actually Believe About good Branding
When someone asks me what makes good branding I always say the same thing: you can't have beautiful visuals without strategy behind them, and you can't have great strategy without visuals that reflect it. One without the other is only half a brand.
Most people think branding is about picking colors they like and designing a logo. And I get it, that's the visible part. But a brand is a whole ecosystem. Your visuals, your strategy, your tone, your voice, who you are, what you stand for, who you're trying to reach, what makes you different. When all of those things come together you get a brand that doesn't just look good, it converts. It attracts the right people. It feels exciting to show up behind.
When any of those pieces are missing, something always feels off. And you'll feel it every time you sit down to create something.
Why I Care So Much About Education
I've seen what happens when a designer hands off a beautiful brand and disappears. The client gets the files, the brand guide, maybe a few examples and then they're on their own. And here's the thing: we are the designer. They are not. So they look at a color palette and they don't fully understand which color is primary, which is an accent, when to actually use it. They don't know if their typography should be all caps or sentence case or when to italicize. They got handed something beautiful and they have no idea what to do with it.
There is nothing worse as a designer than watching someone take a brand you poured yourself into and put it out into the world inconsistently. And there is nothing worse as a client than investing real money into something and not feeling confident enough to actually use it.
So I teach. Every single client leaves knowing their brand inside and out — not just what it looks like but why every choice was made and exactly how to use it. Because an empowered client is the whole point. And a brand you actually understand is a brand that will keep evolving with you.
