frequently asked questions:

  • Yes. Your website is only as strong as the brand foundation underneath it. You don't need me to build that foundation, you might already have one, but we do need to review it and make sure it's complete and cohesive before we start designing your website. This protects both of us and ensures the final result actually works.

  • Every project starts with a nonrefundable deposit that holds your spot. From there you can do payments over two or three months, but here's the important part: your final deliverables aren’t delivered until your final invoice is paid. So if you choose a three-month plan, you'd pay deposit + first two payments before we even start, then your final payment aligns with project completion.

  • Yes — for past clients, absolutely. If you're new here, you'll need to have completed branding in place before we work together on individual design projects. All à la carte work is taken on based on availability and project scope, so the best first step is always to reach out and we'll figure out if the timing works.

  • I do, on a case-by-case basis depending on scope and my capacity. The work I enjoy most is newsletters, in-person collateral, and social media. If you're thinking retainer, let's talk about what that looks like for you specifically.

  • Brand photography is always my first recommendation because nothing connects your brand like images that are actually you. But I get it, not everyone has that ready. If you need it, I can source stock photography that doesn't feel generic. There's a fee for that service, but it keeps your site feeling intentional.

  • Squarespace. I chose it because it's the most user-friendly platform for you to make your own updates after launch, it has solid SEO and accessibility built in, and it has coding capabilities if we ever need them. You stay in control of your own site.

  • Copy isn't something I offer,it's its own craft and it deserves someone who specializes in it. That said, I do require your copy to be complete before we start designing. The design should serve your words, not the other way around.

If you need support getting there, I can recommend a copywriter I trust. And as part of your project you'll also receive a copy template that walks you through what you need page by page so you can write it yourself if you prefer.

  • It depends on the service. For branding, you'll fill out an onboarding questionnaire before our first strategy call so I understand your business. For websites, you'll need to submit your finalized branding, brand photography, and written copy beforehand. These things are what make the design actually work.

  • Again, it depends on the project. For branding, you get all your logos in every color and file type, Canva templates with your brand built in, and a comprehensive brand guide. For websites, you get full ownership of your site so you can connect your own domain and make updates anytime.

  • You walk away with everything you need to move forward independently — your files, your guide, your training videos. I'm not going anywhere though. Past clients get priority booking for future projects and I'm always available for à la carte work as you grow.

  • Yes, for a monthly fee but it depends on my capacity whether I can take on new clients for that service. If you're interested, we can talk about what that looks like.

  • This is something we can figure out together on a call — every project is a little different. Generally, a single page can be done from one of my existing templates starting at $1,000, or built fully custom starting at $1,500. The right option really depends on your brand, your goals, and what the page needs to do. Reach out and we'll figure out what makes the most sense for you.

  • Yes. As long as your branding is solid, we can build your website and layer in whatever other design work you need via à la carte services or a custom package. Let's talk about what you're envisioning.
